Drawing A Clear Red Line

The Prime Minister of Israel once again delivered an amazing speech at the United Nation's General Assembly this year. Pointing out the tainted history of how the U.N. has so often rebuked the Jewish State for defending herself against her enemies. Rather than praise Israel for her limited response to the attacks against her from all sides; more often than not she is rebuked for defending herself against the terrorist that not only surround her, but are living in her midst.

In his remarks, Mr. Netanyahu laid down the case for the world's governments to move beyond words, beyond the sanctions and beyond turning blind eyes and deaf ears to the Iranian nuclear weapons program. In his own eloquent manner, the Prime Minister let the world know that if a clear red line is not drawn now, Iran will continue to work on its nuclear weapons program and thus, it will be a threat to the entire world.

The reason the United States and Russia didn't blow each other into history during the Cold War days is very simple; neither the Russians nor the Americans had a desire to be killed. Knowing that millions of people would be killed and there would be no way to come back from the destruction caused by mutual nuclear animation, neither country ever fired a weapon. It is much different with the threat coming out of Iran.

The Iranians do not think like most of the other nations in this world. As the Iranian president has pointed out so many times on television in the Middle East, "we love death more than you love life." Death isn't a threat to these people. The radical Muslims believe that to die in a Jihad, a holy war, is the only way to guarantee admission into heaven. This is a people that have children in order to strap bombs on them, send them into a crowded mall or market with the sole purpose of blowing themselves up and, as many Jews and Christians as they can.

This is a nation, a religion that praise suicide bombers as heroes, as people they admire and celebrate their death. In the Muslim religion, when a man or woman is killed in jihad, killing "in fides" assures that twenty-five relatives will also be admitted into heaven. This is why a mother will come on television and tell the world that she is proud of her child who has just blown themselves and others up.

The clear red line must be drawn because to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons is like handing nuclear weapons over to the terrorist who attacked America on September 11, 2001. To allow a nuclear weapon in the hands of the Iranians is like handing a nuke to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbulah and every other radical Islamic group in the world. Let me put it in terms you might be able to get. Imagine what would've happened had Adolf Hitler had a nuclear bomb during World War II. Imagine what would've happened if Hitler had placed a nuclear warhead on a Buzz-bomb and allowed it to target London. This is the danger that we now face with Amadinejad and the Iranian nuclear program.

We need to apply pressure on president Obama and the Congress to support Israel and to use any and all measures we have to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. America must let Iran, and the rest of the world, know that we will back Israel and we are going to stop Iran from being a threat to the entire world. It's a whole lot better that we stop Iran now, rather than risk Iran having a nuclear bomb and use the threat of using it on America to get her to surrender: I don't think Mr. Obama would have the guts to stand up against Iran: after all, he's no Jack Kennedy.

While you are all praying for the peace of Jerusalem, pray that our government will do what is right in the eyes of Yehovah God, right in the eyes of history and right because we should support and defend our ONLY ally in the Middle East. Stopping these religious fanatics from obtaining weapons capable of hold the world hostage is a must! We must stop Iran and its charge to take over the world and force Islamic law down the throats of a free world. The time is NOW, before it's too late.

Blessings and peace,

Pastor Dave

Celebrating 500 Broadcasts

This is a little hard for me to wrap my brain around, but today I'll be broadcasting the 500th episode of my radio ministry. I was sitting here trying to think about what the Father has had me doing since June 2010 and it just blows my mind.

Since 2010 I've been broadcasting an Internet radio program. It started off as a news and Bible commentary program called Christian New & Review. In this format I covered news stories that had prophetic meaning and then, I would add my personal commentary based on Bible prophecies and signs of the times. The original programs were meant to be along the lines of a Christian rush Limbaugh and, to be honest, they weren't all that good.

In the early days I didn't have a fast enough Internet connection to broadcast live and they were very choppy with my voice coming and going. I didn't have the ability to play live music and it was pretty bad. I resorted to broadcasting the program via a telephone connection and I just wasn't happy with the sound quality at all. I've always felt like we should always strive to do the best we can do for Yehovah and never settle for anything substandard. If the devil's people have the best, then Yehovah's people should too because we work for the King of the universe.

After only about two months of programing, the Father made the way for me to have a broadcast quality Internet connection installed, to get a wonderful sound board, great microphone and upgrade the programs programing. It was about this same time that the program got a name change and a mission change as well and, things have never been the same. I went from full time news and commentary to a teaching and preaching format with the occasional CNR news broadcast.

Today is the 500th broadcast and the Father has continued to bless. No matter what I've needed to continue doing this program, Yehovah God has sent it. Computers, office supplies, microphones, recording equipment, video recording equipment, funds to pay for radio air time and He''s also blessed me with books and research materials so that I could learn more about Him and His Word. There have been times when I didn't think He was listening to my prayers, that I may have to stop doing this radio ministry, but God has never been late, always on time.

In the past two years - three months, I've broadcasted more than twenty-two thousand hours of programs and studied the Word of Yehovah more hours than I can calculate. The Father has opened the door for me to be a guest on many radio programs to teach about end time prophecy, Middle East issues and, above all of this: the Father has given me the honor of praying for tens of thousands of people, lead many to Yeshua for the first time and been blessed to lead some folks who had strayed from their faith and gone back to lives of sin. each time I've received an email from someone who has been saved, I've wept tears of joy. Every time someone has written me to let me know that they came to pray the sinners prayer because of something I said on the program, I've stopped to celebrate that person's salvation and to thank my God that I was in a place where I could lead them in the Sinner's Prayer.

I don't want you to get the wrong idea here; I'm not writing this to brag on Dave Lillard: I'm writing this to brag on the power and anointing of the great God of creation. I'm writing this to brag on the One who called me to minister when I was just 12 years old at a summer youth camp in Texas. I'm writing this because I want the world to know that Yehovah can use anyone for His purposes. I was a backslidden preacher's kid, living in sin, singing Country music in night clubs, bars, honky tonks and major arenas all across America. I had no desire to be a preacher, no desire to lead souls to salvation and no desire to teach the Bible on an Internet radio program.

It was in 2004 when God brought me back to His loving arms, His loving gift of grace and salvation through the blood of Yeshua. He cleaned me up, planted my feet on the solid rock and has given me the honor to become a teacher of His Word to people all over the world. Though I'm now disabled from auto accidents, thanks to the technology available to me, I'm able to do this program from my home studio, which Yehovah provided. Rather than give up, a burden for lost souls and to teach the truth of the Bible was placed in my heart. I will never be the same, never return to a life of sin and I will be teaching as long as our Father will allow me.

Folks, it has been my honor to be a pastor to people who, for whatever reason, are shut-in, are disabled, are in an area where they don't have a church to go to. I have been blessed and humbled to learn that many of my piers think of me as an authority on biblical prophecy and humbled by the email from a child thanking me for leading his daddy back to the Lord. Though there are days when I want to throw up my hands and give up, every time that feeling comes, one of you dear people send me a note to thank me for doing what I'm doing and that, that gives me the strength to continue to pastor this online church with members all over the world.

Thank you for reading this longer than usual blog: and thank you for the prayers and support of and for this online ministry. I want you to know that I love and appreciate each and every one of you. I'm praying for you and one day, here or in Heaven, I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and hugging your neck. You guys have blessed me so many times, I can't thank you enough.

May Yehovah bless you and keep you; may Yehovah make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you; may Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you and give your His Shalom, His peace. May you and your family rest in the peace that passes all understanding and may you always be mindful of your Father and walk in His will. May you be blessed beyond your greatest dreams and, may we all meet one day in that land where we will never have to say good-bye.

Blessings, peace and love,

Pastor Dave Lillard

Something's About To Happen

As I'm writing this blog, it is about 3:00 AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Last night I couldn't sleep. I couldn't get comfortable and my heart was heavy. I couldn't put my finger on it, I could figure out why I couldn't sleep. It was so bad that it was nearly  10:00 AM before I was able to sleep, and even then it was only for about four hours.

I was preparing to sleep this morning, I felt this in my spirit so, before I went to bed I thought it best I get it out. I want you all to remember, I don't claim to be anything except a minister, a teacher of the Bible. I dobn't believe I have any prophetic gift or calling, but I do feel things in my spirit from time to time. This is one of those times.

Something is about to happen. There is a major shaking in the spirit world and I'm not the only one feeling it. Something is about to happen that no one was really expecting, but it will have a profound affect on the world: something of biblical magnitude. This "something" will cause Christians around the world to examine their lives, cause the Church to begin unifying and it will even cause many sinners to come to know Yeshua. Those sinners who don't immediately come to Yeshua will, at the very least, begin to examine their lives and start making their way toward a saving knowledge of Yeshua.

While I can't say for sure, I feel like this "something" is a two pronged event. I feel like something is going to happen in the Middle East. I believe it has somethign to do with either an attack on Israel or Iran. There will be a significant loss of life and there will be panic around the world. Brave men's hearts will fail them and some will not know how to handle this event, or what to do about it. It will be a major event that is somehow linked to prophecy.

I also feel like something major is going to happen on American soil. When I think about, I sence enormous pain, suffering and fear. I don't know if it's an attack, a natural disaster of some kind or what exactly. What I do know is that it will touch nearly the whole of the nation and its big enough that it will cause Christians to hit their knees in serious prayer. I can't seem to get away from the fear aspect of this feeling. It's like millions of people are in the same place, at the same time and all of them are afraid of the same thing. It's like a  focused fear.

Again, I don't claim to have any sort of prophetic gift, but this sence is so strong in my spirit that there has to be something to it. I don't like saying things like this, but I felt like you folks should know so that you can pray and ask our Father to reveal any instructions He might have for you, your family and your church. I would strongly urge you to begin a time of serious intercession and don't stop until you feel the Father release you from it.

I will be praying about this feeling and asking for more revelation. We are living in the last days of this final age on earth. We all need to be listening and sensative to the Holy Spirit because, as it says in Amos, our God will not do anything until He first tells His prophets and ministers so they can warn the children of Yehovah first. Keep you hearts and ears open and, you might want to check the Internet for any stories from those few who are true prophets of God. They will all have very similar messages and they will all come out about the same time.

Blessings, peace and Yeshua's love to you all,

Dave

To Christian Singles

TO SINGLE CHRISTIANS:

I was pondering why the love of my life hadn’t come into my life, and asking our Father where she was, when He reminded me of a couple of lines from a movie I’ve watched several times. The movie was based on the life of Charles Spurgeon and was set in an early meeting with the woman who was to become his wife, Suzanna.

They were sitting at a concert in London when he handed her a book of poetry he’s reading and asked her to read a particular poem. When she finished reading the poem, Charles asked her “do you pray for the one who is to be your husband? I pray for she who is to be my wife.” I think this is a question that should be asked of all single Christians, especially in today’s society. Do you pray for the one that is to be your wife or husband?

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve had some very bad experiences with singles. I’ve met several who claimed to be Christians but, when pressed, I found that they were either name only Christians or that they were involved in some weird denomination with some very strange beliefs. I’ve even met a couple who held more to what some “prophet” had taught as opposed to what the Bible teaches. I even had one try to tell me that the Bible was wrong and what this “prophet” taught was actually the truth. Didn’t take me long to get out of that situation at all. Poof, I was gone.

As single Christians we should be praying for the one we’re to marry long before we ever meet them in person. We need to be praying for them, blessing them and asking the Father for His divine protection over them every single day. This is the person that we’ll spend the rest of our lives with. We will pray with them, study the Bible with them and attend services with them so, it’s vital that we believe much alike and that we’re both rooted and grounded in the Word of God. You and I don’t want to be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever or with someone who doesn’t have the same core beliefs we have. We want the one our Father in Heaven chose for us and nothing less.

So, as you’re going through your day, my dear single Christian friend, make time to pray for that special someone who is to share your life. Pray for their safety, for their soul and pray that you will know them when you meet them. Don’t waste your time on anyone who isn’t a Believer because all it will get you is hurt. Pray about the person you’re thinking about dating and follow where the Lord leads you. Keep a prayerful eye out for “red flags” that would could be a warning that they aren’t really a Believer. It is far better to be alone than to be in a relationship that isn’t blessed by God. It might be a bit tough at times, but we’ll be a whole lot better off waiting on God’s timing than trying to force something that just isn’t what He planned for us.

Thanks for reading this little blog and remember, pray for the one that is to be your wife or husband. Pray for them like they were already in your life and Yehovah will bless you and will answer your prayers with the ONE He made, just for you.

Shalom,

Pastor Dave

Touch Not My Anointed

My minister friends will understand when I say that I wrestled with writing this blog for a couple of days before sitting down to write it. There are times when a minister is given instructions to preach a sermon or to teach on a particular topic that is uncomfortable for them. In this modern era, this is also true for those of us who blog or write articles and, this is one of those times for me.

Over the past several months I’ve seen a lot of blogs, articles and videos from people who claim to be ministers, teachers, prophets and other assorted things, calling on their audience to label certain ministers as “false prophets.” While we all know there are a lot of false prophets and teachers out there, there are also a lot of people being called this that shouldn’t be. One of the dangers in trying to claim someone is a false prophet is that many times people mistaken label someone as a false prophet when, in realty, nothing could be father from the truth. The truth is a lot of people label someone as a false prophet simply because they don’t see eye to eye on a particular theology or belief.

I’ve got a lot of wonderful ministers that I follow who happen to be on national television. The vast majority of these ministers and I see just about everything the same. There are, however, a few of them that we don’t agree on certain biblical doctrines and interpretations. This doesn’t mean that they, or I for that matter, are a false prophet, it just means we have a differing view of a particular doctrine. Herein lies the danger of trying to label someone.

Look, just because you don’t believe the same as someone doesn’t mean that they are a false prophet; it might just be a differing opinion on that subject. Here’s something you need to consider very urgently. If you put out a message, a blog or a video calling that minister a false prophet when all it really comes down to is a differing view, you’re falsely accusing a fellow Believer and therefore, you’re committing a sin. That’s right, you read correctly. When you point your finger at someone and make a false accusation that could damage that person’s reputation in the public eye, you are making a false accusation and that, according to God’s Word, is barring false witness against your neighbor!

We’ve all seen people who truly are false teachers or false prophets on television or heard them on the radio. What they’re promoting has no basis in fact with biblical teaching. They’re self serving egomaniacs who cannot substantiate their teachings without distorting the biblical truth and taking the Word of God completely out of context. There is a huge difference in this and calling someone a false prophet simply because you don’t agree with them.

In I Chronicles 16:22 we see a very stern warning from Yehovah. This verse says “touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” This isn’t a suggestion; this is a command from our Father in Heaven. This isn’t something that should be taken lightly or blown off because, one of these days we’re going to be judged and everything we’ve said and done will be brought out into the open. If you’ve falsely accused someone, you will have to answer for it.

One last point I want to make here before bringing this article to a close. Some of you making these accusations need to consider some things. First, when Jesus walked this earth, the religious leaders of His day, the Pharisees, called Him a false prophet and wanted to kill Him because of it. We all know that Jesus wasn’t a false prophet and that He had revelation the Pharisees didn’t. Jesus had the full knowledge of the Scriptures and, because of His righteousness; He had the full revelation of what the Scriptures meant that those self-righteous Pharisees didn’t. Could it be that some of you, for whatever reason, don’t have the revelation knowledge that someone else does? Have you stopped to consider the possibility?

In Daniel we’re told that the books were to be sealed until the time of the end, don’t you think it might be possible that there a few people on this earth God may have revealed something to in order to teach us? There are a lot of things that our fathers taught and believed that we’re learning now don’t line up with Scripture after all. There are things that have been taught as fact for hundreds of years that, since the Bible has become available to everyone, we’re learning were manmade doctrines and not supported by the Bible.

In this day and age the world is ready to line all Christians up against the wall and shoot us. The world is looking for any and every excuse it can dig up, real or not, to claim that our faith isn’t real, that Jesus isn’t the only way to heaven and that we’re just a bunch of intolerant, homophobic lunatics trying to cram our beliefs down everyone’s throats. They see the Church as a group of people who can’t agree on what we believe and that we’re unloving, rude and hypocritical. We’ve been commanded to love one another and to pray for one another and not to take pot shots at each other. As a matter of fact, we’ve been commanded to help a fallen brother get up off the ground and restore him, not to publically humiliate and accuse in so the world can have another reason not to believe in Jesus. Why are we handing them ammunition to fire back at us?

The bottom line is this: before you call someone a false prophet, you’d better make sure that they are. Before you accuse someone of being a false prophet, you’d better make sure that your Father in Heaven agrees with that assessment and that you have irrefutable biblical evidence to support your claim and, that it isn’t just a matter of not seeing eye to eye on something. Our job isn’t to go around accusing fellow Believers falsely, our job is to love one another and to bare one others burdens.

For the sake of your soul, your personal reputation and being careful not to make our Father, our Savior and the rest of the Christian world look bad: don’t ever accuse someone of being a false prophet unless you’re absolutely sure your Father instructs you to. You might find yourself at odds with the Father if you’re wrong and bring an unfounded accusation against one of His anointed.

Peace, love and blessings from our Father to you and your family,

Dave

He's Coming

At 3:13 AM, Thursday June 7, 2012, this word came to my spirit and I do believe it came from the throne of Yehovah God. I would strongly urge you to hear it, take it to heart and obey it.
Prepare for my Son’s coming. Get your house in order for His coming is near at hand. The point of no return has been breached and the time of critical mass has arrived. The coming events are being revealed to my prophets; you would do well to hear their warning. Pray, repent and bring in the harvest for the Sabbath rest is near at hand. Put your house in order says the Lord, and prepare to come home.”

Amos 3:7 (KJV)
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (KJV)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words
.

Revelation 22:20 (KJV)
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
I’m not speaking to you as a preacher, teacher, prophet or anything else; I’m speaking to you as someone who loves you and is concerned about your immortal soul and the place where you will spend all eternity. It doesn’t matter if you believe in God, believe in Jesus or believe that there will be such a thing as the Rapture or eternity: what you doesn’t matter at because it won’t change the reality you’re going to be faced with one day very soon. There is One God and his name is Yehovah. He is the God of creation and the Father of Yeshua, Jesus.
The words of Jesus and the words of the Bible prophets are playing out every evening on your television when you watch the news. The countries talked about in the end time prophecies are the very countries where all the turmoil and wars are happening. Everything the prophets talked about is coming to pass at an alarmingly fast rate and, the Bible is once again proving to be accurate, right down to the last period and comma.
We’ve reached the point of no return; the point where our prayers will not delay, postpone or in any way effect God’s ultimate plan. Jesus could come back to catch His faithful Christians away at any second. This event, called the Rapture, could happen before you finish reading this article. The question is would you go if Jesus called or would you be left behind to face death during the seven years of tribulation? Would you really be caught up to meet your mom, dad, grandpa, grandma; your son, your daughter or your friends in the air and then go on to Heaven to be with the Lord? Only you can make the choice as to where you’ll spend eternity: have you made up your mind.
Look, if you can’t serve God now, when no one is hunting you down like a criminal; when the police don’t have your picture on a most wanted list, and when the most that would happen is someone might poke fun at you. If you can’t openly serve Jesus now; what makes you think you’d have the courage to stand for Him when to do so means your head will be removed from your body? What makes you think you’ll be man enough or woman enough to take a stand for Jesus when you can’t do it now?
After Jesus takes the faithful Christians out of this world, more than half the world’s population will be killed by war, nuclear war, famine, pestilence, wild animal and execution. The odds are less than 50-50 that you will survive the seven years of the tribulation. If you can’t take a stand for Jesus, denounce Him and accept the RFID chip in your right hand or forehead (the Mark of the Beast) then your soul will be damned to Hell for all eternity and there is no forgiveness for this.
I’m begging you, please consider this. Jesus said that the generation that saw all the signs of His return come to pass at the same time, that generation would not pass away until all would be fulfilled: and that includes the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus to earth. For the first and only time in man’s history, the generation you and I are living in right now is the only generation to see all the signs come to pass at the same time. We are the LAST generation on earth before the Rapture and the tribulation.
I’m begging you, please, ask God to forgive you of your sins, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and put away your foolish pride. Become a true Believer in Jesus and live the short time we have left as a follower of Jesus and help lead as many souls as possible to the saving knowledge of Christ.
Yeshua, Jesus could come at any second and, if you aren’t ready, you will be left behind. Jesus is coming sooner than any of us can know, please ask God to forgive you and come go with me in the Rapture of the Church.
In Christ’s service,
Dave

Making A Short Film

About a year ago the Father gave me a story about a backslidden Christian who found himself left behind after the Rapture. I wrote the story and even read the story on my radio broadcast. I never had any idea that the Father had more planned for this story, until a few days ago.

The Father told me to make a movie from the story He had given me, and my reply was "who me"? I have never made a movie, never produced a movie and I've never written a movie script and now, I'm in pre-production to film this story. One of the things that bothered me was that I didn't have a camera good enough to make this film. All I had was just a small video camera which has a lot of limitations and not nearly enough recording time. The Father made a way that someone donated a Panasonic video camera, not a home movie camera, but a professional video camera capable of not only making this movie, but it will also allow me to do ministry videos as well.

I'm working on the screenplay and pre-production for this short film and figuring out what small pieces of equipment and props will be needed to complete the film. From the script and what little I know about making a film, I think this film will not be more than an hour long. It will be released on YouTube first so that people can view it and then it will be made available on DVD for those who want a copy.

While not giving away the plot or any of the components of this film, I can tell you that it will be a great soul winning tool. It's sure to be a film you want to show to your unsaved family and friends. I would really appreciate your prayers for this important project and the twenty or so volunteer actors that will be playing the parts. I hope to film it in June and July with TouTube release sometime in August. More details when they are available... if you live in the Denton, DFW area and would like to be part of the cast or crew, shoot me an email.

Blessings, peace and love,

Dave

Prophetic Word - REVELATION

As I was praying and thinking about what the Father was laying on my heart for this weeks radio programs, I heard His voice speaking to me the words below. I ran to my computer and began to type them out as Yehovah dictated them to me. When He finished speaking to me, I knew these words were true and I knew they came from the Throne of Yehovah.

REVELATION:

Write to my children and say; Yehovah, the God of creation wishes His children to hear His voice and to obey. I am revealing to My ministers words that My children need to heed. Your churches are filled with the traditions of men, the form of godliness and the powerless rituals handed down from your fathers. Is it not written in My Word that those who know Me must worship Me in spirit and in truth? I have given you My truth in written form, but you do not read it. I have given you My commandments, My laws and My Son, Yeshua, came and gave you a living example of how to live. Follow His example, follow My Word and stop partaking in the powerless forms of the past.

Come to Me with a heart of worship and praise and I will hear you. Come to Me with an open heart and I will show you the fresh revelation that your fathers did not understand. My prophet, Daniel, was commanded to seal up the book until the time of the end: the time of the end is now upon the earth and I am speaking to My ministers and revealing to them the secrets held for this generation. The secrets of the books are being opened to those who will put aside the traditions of men and follow the words I am speaking.

There are truths found in the Feasts that I prescribed through my servant Moses that my children need to learn, to honor and to rehearse. These truths point to the pure form of worship, to the meanings of what My Son came to accomplish on this earth and will lead you into a deeper understanding of My heart. Study the Scriptures for in them you will find truth, security, salvation and fresh revelation as I am pulling back the veil of your understanding and opening your blinded eyes. Seek Me and you shall find Me, but seek Me with an open heart to what I will teach you.
Hear the words of your Father who loves you and wants to reveal to you the hidden secrets that have been waiting for such a time as this. Open your ears to hear My still small voice and you shall hear Me and you shall know that I Yehovah, the God of all creation, your Father.”

I'd just like to add a couple things here. There are a lot of evangelical ministers out there who want you and me to believe that Yeshua came to do away with the law and the prophets and that to follow the Feast of Yehovah or to pray while wearing a prayer shawl or to build an altar for the family to pray around are all unnecessary and no longer valid. To those people I'd just like to say, shut up. Any time Yehovah, God, says to do something throughout your generations for ever, I do believe He means it. yes, Yeshua (Jesus) came and fulfilled the law regarding the sacrifice of animals and opened the door so we can go directly to the Father, but I also know that we still need to teach and remember that as it pointed to Yeshua.

Those of us who are seeing what the Father is trying to say understand that we're in the minority right now, but the day will come when many more will begin see the need to return to our Hebraic roots and to follow Yehovah's way and not the traditions of men. One of the main reasons we aren't seeing more of the blessing flowing in our churches and through our congregations is because we've come to accept man's doctrines and theology over what is written plainly in the Scriptures. We need to read our Bibles more while we're praying and ask Holy Spirit to open our eyes to HIS truth, so that we can see things the Yehovah wants us to; not the way some man wants, but the way our Father in Heaven wants us to see it.

When we leave this world and go on to the next, we aren't going to be judged by what's contained in that denominational rule book or by what we were taught by some dogmatic preacher who was sold on his own version of the Scriptures: we're going to be judged by what is actually contained in the plain truth of the written Word of the Almighty and what His Son taught as He walked this world. Stop worshipping denominations, preachers, teachers, apostles, prophets and evangelists and start worshipping and listening to the One who created all... Yehovah.

That's truth.

Your Legacy

Your Legacy:

Proverbs 13:22 (KJV)
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
This is an all important passage in your Bible, and it’s also the topic I’d like to write about today. You see, unless we go in the Rapture, one of these days we’re all of us will one day die. The question then becomes, how will we be remembered?

When we die we’re all going to be remembered for the person we really were. All the polite words and the concern about hurting our feelings won’t matter and people will suddenly become brutally honest. Will be remembered as a drug addict, an alcoholic, a person who couldn’t complete a sentence without profanity or someone who was abusive to women, children or weaker people? Will we be remembered as someone who helped the sick, injured, hungry and naked? Will we be remembered as someone who prayed for anyone who asked, a Believe in Yeshua who tried to live for Him?

The way we’re remembered is very important because is this is the legacy we leave behind. My dad, who will always be my hero, was a very godly man. He was a minister all of his adult life; a hard worker, an honest man and he was a tremendous prayer warrior and teacher of Yehovah’s Word. No, he wasn’t perfect, but he was one who tried every single day to represent his Father in a good way.
When you ask people about my dad and who he was, you will rarely hear anything but good about him. You’ll hear a lot of people say that they were saved under his ministry, they were trained to be a teacher or preacher under his watchful eye and you’ll hear how he took care of the sick, the hungry, the poor and ministered in every way you can think of. People will tell you that Rev. D.J. Lillard was a man of God, a good father and loving husband. The legacy my dad left behind isn’t one of material wealth, not one of fame or a huge ministry, but his legacy is filled with wonderful ministry and care. This is the type of legacy that each and every one of should aspire to leave behind.

As we walk through our day, we need to be concerned about how people see us. If we dare to wear the name “Christian” then it is our duty to live up to that name: or at the very least make every effort to live up to it. Our job is to leave behind memories of how we worked in our church, fed hungry people, assisted the disabled or elderly and how we tried to inspire people with words that were a blessing. We need to be ever mindful of how Yeshua lived His life and, as it says in 1 Peter 2:21, to use His life as our example of how to live.

As Believers in Yeshua and His Father, Yehovah, we need to do everything we can to follow in the footsteps of our Savior. Daily we need to awake with a prayer our lips, g through the day with a prayer in our hearts. We need to daily search and study the Scriptures, help people whenever and wherever we can; not for any sort of praise or a reward of any kind, but because it’s the thing that Yeshua would do. We need to keep a word of praise on our lips, a song in our hearts and speak kindly to people and to let His precious love and light shine through us. We need to help people, love people and bless them with the salvation message.

I’ve been giving a lot of thought lately as to how people will remember me should I be called home before the Rapture. You see, for more than two decades I didn’t serve Yehovah. I ran from the Father and the call He put on my life like I was running from a hungry lion. I didn’t care what I did, where I went or who I hurt. I was chasing a dream and I wasn’t real concerned who I had to step on or step over to get there. I didn’t make a lot of friends in my field when I treated someone in bad way.
I’m concerned that some of these people who have not been around me since I came back to the Father will have just cause to speak badly of me. I don’t want that to be the case. I want to be remembered as a Christian man, a diligent minister, singer/songwriter and a man who would stop what he was doing to pray for someone when they asked. I want to be remembered for the love I have for my Savior, for the ministry work I’ve done for Him. I don’t want any fame, don’t want any glory: I do want to be remembered as a faithful Believer for the glory of my Father.

How will you be remembered? Honestly, how would people remember you if you died tonight? Would family and friends mourn the passing of a good Christian man or woman, or would they talk about what a nasty person you were? These are things that we all need to be thinking about and things that we need to be working on. We all should want to leave a legacy of love, respect, service and faithfulness to Yehovah God. We all need to stop, take an honest look at our lives and our accomplishments; then we need to go back and do our best to repair any damage so that our lives glorify the One who did so much for us.

In many sermons, my dad would look down at his congregation and tearfully make ask this very important question, the question I now ask you. “Your life is the only Bible that some people will ever read, what does yours say?” Should you life be the only Bible some people read, what would it say? There’s a question that should stop you in your tracks to reflect for a few minutes.
Blessings and peace,
Dave

End Time Warning

End Time Warning – False Prophets

Since starting my full time ministry two years ago, I’ve been exposed to something that I knew was happening, but I wasn’t aware of how rampant it how become. Yeshua warned us that in the last days there would be a lot of false prophets, false teachers and preachers running around the world. While some of these are well meaning men and women who want to do something for the Father, some of these are the lowest form of human beings: they are people who are preying on the emotions of ignorant Christians.

There are a whole lot of self called people out there wearing titles like pastor, though they don’t have the call or a church; they call themselves evangelist, though they don’t evangelize; they call themselves prophet, though Yehovah never called them and they only echo what they hear someone else say; and some call themselves bishop when they don’t meet the biblical criteria to even hold this office. Folks this is wrong and it is also very dangerous. It also causes the world to laugh when they hear these people speak.

In these last days, it’s becoming more and more urgent that when we listen to anyone, we need to weigh what they say against the infallible truth of the Word of the Almighty. We need to look at what they say and whether or not they are 100% accurate when they say they’re speaking for Yehovah. The cold hard truth of it is this, according to the Bible, Yehovah’s test of a prophet is that what they say comes to pass, all the time. Deuteronomy 18:22 (NASB77) " When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.” This verse says about all that can be said. If it doesn’t come to pass, they weren’t speaking for Yehovah.

I want to urge all of you who will read this blog to be very careful who you listen to and who you follow. It’s very dangerous to put your full faith and allegiance in any man because, as we’ve seen numerous times in the past few years, any human can fall or circum to temptation. Any human is capable of injecting things into the text to make it say what they want it to say. One can take a few passages out of context and they can start a new religion or some new religious sect.

Friends, all of us need to be careful and need to check the Scriptures to insure we’re being taught by someone who is called, anointed and speaking the true words of our Father. We need to spend time in prayer, spend time searching the Scriptures and keep our eyes open for false prophets, teachers, pastors and anyone else. It is real easy to pull the wool over the eyes of someone who doesn’t know the material. It is very easy for someone with a nice voice, a pretty face or someone who has a dynamic personality to get people to follow them for all the wrong reasons. Don’t be led into some cult or some movement that isn’t ordained and blessed by the Father in Heaven. Read your Bible and pray on a daily basis. Check what you’re being taught against the truth of the Bible.

One last thing before we say bye for now. I’ve noticed that a lot of people seemingly are worshiping or idolizing men and women who are preachers and Gospel musicians or “entertainers.” This too is very dangerous because we aren’t to worship or idolize any human. That man or woman on that stage isn’t the object of our worship: they’re a servant like any of the rest of us. They are not a super star; they are not to be held any higher than anyone else. Do not allow yourself to worship or idolize anyone or anything because Yehovah, the Creator of all, is the only one worthy of our worship, our praise and our devotion.

Thanks for your time and please, take this short message to heart. Don’t follow anyone who isn’t preaching the pure truth of Yehovah’s Word, and don’t follow anyone with a spirit of worship or an attitude of them being an idol. The cost for not listening to these words of advice could be your immortal soul.

Blessings and peace to you all,

Dave

Come Ye Out

In these last days one can't help but notice how the church looks so much like the world that one needs a program to tell which is which. Those claiming to Believers don't want to offend the world or to make them feel like they have to be different so, we've started to look like the world in order to make them comfortable. This isn't the way Yehovah wants it to be.

Charles Spurgeon, the 19th century London pastor and pioneer, is quoted as saying "We shall not adjust our Bible to fit the age, but before we have done with it, by God's grace, we shall have adjusted the age to fit the Bible."  The world isn't looking for a carbon copy of itself that has only been repackaged with a bunch of religious trappings, it is looking for something real and powerful. Even the world knows that there should be a marked difference between what they're seeing and what it should be.

The church of Yehovah God should be filled with faith, power and as we find in Mark 16, there should be signs and wonders following those of us who believe. We should be out there looking different, sounding different and in all of churches, we should be see amazing signs and wonders. In every congregation there should be miracles that leave the unbeliever's mouth dropped wide open in wonder. We should be seeing the blinded eyes seeing, the deaf ears able to hear, the cripple walking and the blessing of he Father falling on everyone gathered to worship Him.

Come ye out means to stop living like the world, stop depending on the world or the government for help and to stop acting like the heathen do. We're to come out of the world and to rely on the power, love and blessing of the One who should be worshipping every single day. We should start our day with praises to Yehovah on our lips, go throughout the day praising Him and end the day with praises on our lips. We should be feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the shut ins and the prisoner and proclaiming that Yeshua Jesus is Lord of all.

The world has no problem taking His precious name in vain and using it in a profane and disgusting manner so we should have no problem using it in our daily lives as a blessing and a message of hope. We should be walking around with a prayer of praise on our hearts and our lips. The world isn't ashamed to use the name or title of our Father wrongly, so why are we ashamed to use it as it should be used? We've got to step up and become what the Father intended us to be: we are the mighty men and women of valor and faith through the blood of our Lord, Savior and soon coming King.

Come ye out and begin to live a life that includes daily prayer, praise, worship and a deep study of the Scriptures. Stop being a follower of the Messiah one day a week and start becoming a true follower each and every day of the week. Learn to love the way He loved; He was our example and we all need to start trying harder to live by His example. We need to stop acting like the world and to begin living like sons and daughters of the Most High Yehovah God.

I'm as guilty as anyone. I haven't done everything I need to do in order to be a better son of the Father. I haven't spent nearly as much time as I need to in His presence or in prayer for family, friends and those in my church, but I'm going to start. The sooner that we all come to realization that we can do more, the faster we can change and begin to actually do more and better. The time we have on this earth is limited and we need to be more proactive in our approach to winning souls to the Messiah and showing forth His love.

Would you like to have more of the power of the Almighty in your life? Would you like to be able to pray for the sick and see them recover? Would you like to have a closer walk with Yehovah and be able to feel and exercise the gifts of the Spirit? The only way to be able to do this is to come out of the world and become more like our Savior.

Please, my dear reader, join me in making a commitment to come out of the world and to draw closer to our Father. It isn't hard, but it does require each and everyone of us to be serious. Come on, become a mighty man or woman of Yehovah.... COME YE OUT OF THE WORLD, and draw closer to your Father.

Blessings, peace and love,

Pastor Dave

The Fear of The Lord

THE FEAR OF THE LORD:

There was a time, not that long ago in fact, when people had a natural feeling regarding God, His ministers and things related to God. There was a natural inbred fear where people knew there was a clear line between what was right, and what was wrong. People had a conscience and should they do anything wrong it bothered them; they became acutely aware that they had said or done something that, in the eyes of God, was wrong. It seems that this nation has lost that. The closer we get to the Rapture of the Church, and the Tribulation period that will follow, the more the world creates a “grey” area. It seems the line between right and wrong is becoming more and more foggy or unclear.

In your Holy Bible we find a phrase that many have no real idea what it means. A phrase and a philosophy that many parents have not taught their children about and, it is something that needs to be addressed more in the pulpits of this nation, and around the world. The phrase for which I’m speaking is “The fear of the Lord.” Do you have any idea what those words really mean?

What is the simple meaning of those words? I could bore you with a very long and in-depth study on this and quoted dozens of verses and many stories, but for the sake of time I won’t. The simple meaning of “the fear of the Lord” is this: having such a deep respect and love for God that one is afraid of saying or doing anything that might offend Him or bring a reproach to Him or His Kingdom. Now that’s about as simple as it can get.

You and I are to have such a deep abiding love for God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, that we’re afraid of saying or doing anything that would offend Him, bring shame or a bad mark against Him in any way shape or form. We should have so much love and respect for our God that we walk each step of this life, speak each word we speak with the knowledge that we need to be careful not to bring Him any shame. We need to live each day as though He were our constant companion, walking every step we take with us: because in reality, He does.

Not too many years ago we’d very rarely ever hear of a burglar targeting a church for his crime. A few years ago, and I’m talking fifty years at the most, even the majority of the criminal element in this country would not break into a church to steal anything because they were afraid that God would strike them dead if they did. In the year 2012, churches have become a target of burglars who want to break in and take sound equipment, musical instruments, computers, money and anything else of value they can find in a short amount of time.  They’ve lost that respect and fear for the things of God and, for God Himself.

Just a few years ago, a pastor stood in the pulpit of his church delivering a power packed, Holy Ghost anointed message to his congregation. As he preached, a man walked into the church and began walking down the center of the church. When he reached a point, only a few feet from where the pastor was speaking, he pulled a gun, pointed it at the preacher and began to fire. He unloaded his weapon at point blank range in an attempt to silence this man of God. By the grace of God, not a single bullet touched this pastor and the man was subdued and arrested for this crime.

As you’re watching many pastors and ministers teach these days, you’ll notice two or more men close by him facing the congregation as he ministers. These are not ushers or elders in the church: these are armed off duty law enforcement officers hired by the church to protect the ministers as they preach. Who would ever have thought that such drastic measures would ever be needed in the house of God? Who would’ve ever believed that anyone who have the guts to walk into a church with the intent of killing the minister, or anyone else for that matter? Who would’ve thought the day would ever come when church burglary and arson were so prevalent, that churches would feel the need to install alarm systems and hire security patrol services? When I was growing up, that thought never entered my mind.

People have lost the fear of the Lord and seemingly don’t care about anything that has to do with God or the Church. It is becoming more and more the norm for there to be children in our society who have never been to a church service except for a funeral or wedding. Parents are not teaching their children about God, about the Bible or the importance of having a healthy respect for God and His ministers. We’ve all but lost an entire generation of young people because of abortion and because of them not being taught about God. This is so sad that it makes my heart ache inside of me. This is so horrible that it makes me want to weep for the millions of children and young adults who have no concept of who God is, or who Christ the Savior is either.

As Born Again Christians, we’ve got to bring back the concept of the fear of the Lord into our churches, our work places and into our homes. We’ve got to be ever mindful that our lives are the only Bible that some people will ever read. We have got to develop such Godlike character that our private lives are a godly reflection of what people see when we’re in church or in public. We have got to live our lives in the fear of the Lord to the point, that we’re ever mindful of our actions, our words and how people will perceive them.

Folks, you and I need to live like Christ is watching every single word we speak, every gesture we make, every action we take and every other aspect of our loves. We need to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. The world can see right through a smoke screen, they can tell if a person is really a God loving person or, if that person is just another hypocrite. They can tell, they can absolutely tell if you and I are the real deal, or just another phony.

I’m asking each of you to do what I’ve been doing for the past several days: I’d like for you to stop and take inventory on your life. Do you live each day with such love and respect for your Father that you’re watching how you conduct yourself all the time? Do you love God so much, that you don’t ever want to be guilty of saying or doing something that will bring a reproach or bad mark against the name of your God? Do you love God so much that you’re doing all you can to ensure that you’re actually walking the walk, rather than just being another talking head? We should all take a careful inventory of our lives and make certain that we actually are living in fear of the Lord.

Thank you for reading this blog and please, take time today to make sure that you and God are on good terms. Take the time to make sure that you’re living a life that reflects your love, respect and fear of the Lord. Pray more, study your Bible more and do your absolute best to show forth the love of Christ in your private and public life. Also keep in mind that ole saying: “Your life is the only Bible some people will ever read: what does yours say?”

God bless you and keep you.
