We've had wrong all these years. This is a simple straightforward statement that we all need to look at and correct. All these years, since somewhere around the third century AD, man has looked at God in terms of religion and this, it's the wrong concept.
What I'm about to say will shock some of you and will make some of you wrong, but it is the truth any way. Jesus was not a religious man, nor did He preach religion when He walked this earth. Jesus had one very simple message that He never wavered from His entire ministry. We've read about it, talked and taught around it but, because we've never experienced it, we've not grasped the concept: Jesus taught about the Kingdom.
In Matthew chapter 4 Jesus made His very first public statement: "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." The actual translation would be like "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has returned." In the book of Matthew alone, Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of Heaven some 48 times directly. He didn't preach some new religion, He didn't speak of new theological dogma or religious practices, He spoke of the Kingdom of God and Heaven. We've ignored this message and polluted what Jesus said with all kinds of man made junk.
I was watching a video of Dr. Myles Munroe speak on this and he put it as well as anyone I've heard yet. Dr. Munroe said, "There are a lot of teachers teaching the gospel of Christ; but not too many who teaching the Gospel Jesus taught." The Church has strayed from the true Gospel message and thus have corrupted the truth with the religious devices of men which, as we're able to see, will never be equal to the message we should be teaching and preaching.
The message of the Bible is one of the Kingdom of Heaven and how God created Earth to be a colony of His Kingdom. Earth was to be a visible copy of the invisible Kingdom of Heaven and man was to be the regent of this colony. Prior to the fall of Adam, this earth was an exact copy of Heaven and Adam enjoyed his position as God's regent here. After the fall, Earth was no longer blessed of God because it fell into the hands of His enemy who took over as regent until Christ came to restore the Kingdom.
In 2012 my ministry will be teaching a lot of the kingdom principles found in the Bible as I try to show you how to reclaim what is yours by the King's decree. We will be learning this concepts and how to apply them to our daily lives in obedience to the King's original intent. Yes, this is a message that hasn't be taught in a very long time, but it's a message that will set you free once you study it out and understand it. It has absolutely nothing to do with religion, man's definition of the Bible or of God. It is the message Jesus taught, and it is the message that the world needs to hear.
One of the main reasons the world doesn't run to the Church is because it has been flawed with man's stinkin thinkin and religious concepts that don't work. The world is searching for the power and anointing that can only come from the Kingdom of Heaven and a people who truly worship and believe in the King of the universe, Jehovah. It's time we realize that with the proper concepts, the proper teaching and the understanding of God's original intent: the children of the King can and will rule this world as God intended.
Luke 12:32 is a verse you should look up and memorize. God, who is the King of all creation, wants to give His children the Kingdom. He wants us to have everything here that He has in Heaven. He wants us to be healthy, spiritually renewed and wealthy in all areas of our lives. This can only come from learning and acting in God's plan for our lives.
